Rev 17:3-4 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication."

This rich and powerful endtime harlot comprises the fallen Christians and leaders (false christs, teachers and prophets and rich televangelists), whose heresies and abominable practices (sodomy) have destroyed the faith of many Christians and sending them to damnation.
Revelation 17:6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
the mystery of the scarlet beast
The harlot sits on this scarlet beast, who leads the harlot to teach heresies and commit abominations.
This scarlet beast is full of the names of blasphemy.
Rev 17:7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns."
The last day church will comprise both
1. the saints - the glorious women in Rev 12, who have kept His words and are faithfully discipling new converts while slowly transforming them into the image of Jesus.
2. the Harlot - these are the savage wolves, who have destroyed the faith of Christians with their distorted doctrines and heresies.
Act 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves (denominations).
Unfortunate for these apostates, who had served Satan zealously, Satan's ministers (10 horns - demons) will hate and kill them in great horror.
Rev 17:16 "And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire."
Incarnate of Satan
Rev 17:8a "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition..."
The conquerors or occupiers of the Promises land (Israel), who had caused the Israelites to suffer tremendously since the days of King David were:-
1. Egyptians
2. Assyrians
3. Babylonians
4. Mede-Persians
5. Grecians
The above 5 were past Conquerors, the present 6th. Conqueror (time of writing)
6. Romans
The 7th Conqueror
7. Mohammedans
In 1948, Israel once again became a nation again. But Israel and Jerusalem will fall again to the 8th Conqueror, who is the Antichrist (beast).

Rev 17:10-11 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.
Rev 13:1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.
rising out of the sea this beast (Antichrist) comes out from among the people (water).
seven heads it had conquered Israel 7 times and made the Israelites captives and slaves.
mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed
The Devil will come down to earth and incarnate into the corpse of the Iranian Supreme Leader to become the Endtime Antichrist.
Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.
The 1st Beast in Rev 13:1-10 is the Endtime Antichrist - the incarnate of Satan.
